I've worked with many contractors across United States & Canada and Sean is at the top of the list when it comes to customer centricity. He really goes above and beyond to ensure his clients are taken care of. If you're in the market for an outdoor remodel (especially for a deck) you're in great hands with Sean and his team.

Michigan Rose Construction was invaluable in helping us finish our project of bringing The 109 Cultural Exchange up to code so we could increase our occupancy. They stuck with us through some difficult issues, and were always ready to help solve them. They took on responsibility above and beyond to help get this project completed. Their communication was always on point, and they were very responsive with any questions. I would highly recommend working with them! If we have a project in the future, Sean (the owner) will be my first call! ~ Mary Dettling, Director, Saline Main Street

Based on other reviews and the willingness of Sean to work with my budget, I hired Michigan Rose to rebuild my back deck. They did a great job!! The job was done well and quickly, the builders even working in the cold. I have hired them to do an indoor remodeling project next and will have no qualms about hiring them to redo my front deck next.

I have known Sean and his crews for a long time and have hired them in the past, and it is great to see his continued success (no surprise to me). I have referred him several clients since our paths crossed and he makes me look great every time! Thanks, Sean - keep it up!

We hired Michigan Rose Construction to finish our basement. We worked with Sean, Cory, and Paul to design a space to our liking, taking our basement from brick and concrete to a fully finished space. They delivered a product that was exactly as we had imagined, complete with custom shelving and a beautiful French door at the entrance. Paul did most of the carpentry by himself and his craftsmanship is very impressive! We’ll definitely be giving Michigan Rose Construction a call when we need another big home improvement job done!

What can I say??? Sean and his crew were absolute pros from start to finish. The step by step site planning to being mindful to minimize lawn damage to site clean up were all above and beyond. Sean was patient and kind and very personable to deal with. He was compassionate about our needs and hit a grand slam. They are definitely handling the foundation for my next big project and we can’t wait. Highly recommend this company.

Michigan Rose Construction provided quality work on our new driveway and walk. It was a complicated job because a retaining wall had to be poured to replace rotting timbers. Their work was top notch. Sean Kurtz, the owner, listened to all of concerns. I would not hesitate to hire them for any job.

We needed some old concrete sidewalk segments replaced. Cory and team were already planning a driveway project in the area so they were able to add us in with only a couple days wait. We appreciated the professional collaboration and quality of work.

Christine Bruxvoort

I am very pleased with our new concrete driveway installed by Michigan Rose! Everything is beautiful and the team took extra care to make sure we were informed about everything and happy with the work. I recommend this company because they do great work, but also because they were timely, pleasant to work with and took good care of our property.

Absolutely great bunch of people! Fantastic work, that looks better than I pictured it in my mind!!

Loved working with this company for my parent's deck. Good, hardworking, honest employees that do quality work.

Michigan Rose Construction did a great job on my new deck. I'm very pleased and the crew was polite and answered any questions that I had. I really like my new deck and would work with Michigan Rose again.

I would highly recommend Michigan Rose Construction for home repair. Everyone there was very pleasant to work with. They responded quickly to my inquiry, gave me a very reasonable quote, started the work on time, cleaned up after each day and the carpentry was superb. I have neighbors stop bye to comment on how nice the job turned out. I am very happy with the results.

When we contracted Michigan Rose Construction to build us an outdoor kitchen, we didn’t really envision how perfect it would be for our lifestyle. Sean listened to our needs, adjusted without complaint when we changed our minds about things or expanded the scope, and delivered an unbelievable result. From the custom concrete bar top, to the storage area, and my very important canning space, it came together perfectly. Sean, as well as all of his subcontractors, are amazingly talented and a joy to work with.

Joel's team did a great job with our patio project. Excellent communication and willingness to create our vision. Would absolutely recommend and use in the future.

NorthStar Home Rescue

These folks are class acts. They are knowledgeable and a great help with our realty investment needs.

Eilene Barbacci

Michigan Rose built a new deck for my condo unit. Joel Shown, the construction coordinator, was very responsive to all of my calls and texts with questions I had about the new build. I was given information up front as to what to expect and when to expect it.
The actual builder of my deck, Rob, was extraordinary with his knowledge of deck building and he paid a great deal of attention to detail, which is important to me. My new deck is beautiful and I am now enjoying it!
I will definitely recommend Michigan Rose Construction to my family and friends and to anyone out there who is looking to build a deck.
Thanks guys!

Matthew Barnett

Absolutely thrilled with the work! The team was professional, efficient, and delivered outstanding quality. The project was completed on time and within budget. Highly recommend for any construction needs!

Bob Zammit

Sean and team were exceedingly pleasant to communicate with, flexible and reasonable when life got in the way, and our new driveway is now the envy of the neighborhood. We'll work with these folks again for sure.

We had bids out for pouring the concrete floor in our 40x70 pole barn. Their bid was right in middle and actually a better value than the highest bid. Sean was the only one of the bidders to get back with me, so that cemented it (pun intended). Sean came out personally to view the job and they got started a couple of weeks later (weather issues). The crew that came out were very professional, even leveled off the ground outside the barn. On the day of the pour, Miguel and the entire crew spent 12 hours on the job in order to make sure it was done right. He even reset the door latch on my overhead door. I absolutely recommend Sean and Michigan Rose to anyone.

Very pleasant company to deal with. Work done is top notch and price is very reasonable. I would consider to engage them in my next home project whether it’s outdoors or indoors. Very responsive and satisfactory.

Jessica Martin

Owner Sean is fantastic to work with- kind, thorough, and timely- and his team did an exceptional job on a bathroom remodel. Recommend them highly and will use them again!

Jason Schneider

MRC helped me with installation of a large carport and some additional concrete work. They were responsive at all times from start to finish. Their crew was personable and professional, and it was a pleasure doing business with them!

David Fienup

It was nice working with Sean. Our HOA needed ADA Warning Pads replaced throughout our neighborhood in Pittsfield Twp. The quote was fair, and the work was solid. He also happily worked with us through all of the complications that come with working with a Homeowners Association.

Marc Kramer

My experience with Michigan Rose as a contractor was nothing short of exceptional. When it came time to remove the old cement and asphalt from my garage and replace them with new cement, I received bids from various contractors. However, what set Michigan Rose apart was their dedication to understanding my specific needs rather than trying to upsell unnecessary services like some other contractors did. Sean, the owner of Michigan Rose, is an incredible communicator who made me feel at ease throughout the entire process. I am beyond satisfied with their excellent work and will definitely be using their services again for future projects in my old home.

Felipe Muzquiz

Excellent team, they are very professional. Highly recommended to work with them

Our 15+ year old cement porch was crumbling to the point of being unsafe. After receiving quote upwards of $4000 for repair and $8000 for replacement, we contacted Michigan Rose Construction.
Not only did they quote almost half of the others, they were so responsive and professional.
Sean contacted us right away and arranged for repair in the same week.
Work was done in 4 hours, and it is beautiful!
We are more than pleased!
Shout out to Sean for his friendliness and professionalism!
Would definitely use Michigan Rose Construction again!

I originally spoke with Sean (owner), and knew immediately he was different than most contractors.

He was prompt to call me back, explain what others glossed over so I could make an informed decision, and walk me through his estimate.

I will be referring all of my friends and family to Michigan Rose.

Thank you, Sean, for making the construction experience a good one instead of one that everyone dreads!

The Future Wooley's

I had a great experience working with Michigan Rose on our patio! They were so attentive to detail and made sure to communicate with us throughout the process. Highly recommend hiring Michigan Rose for your next project!!
