Michigan Rose Construction was invaluable in helping us finish our project of bringing The 109 Cultural Exchange up to code so we could increase our occupancy. Based on other reviews and the willingness of Sean to work with my budget, I hired Michigan Rose to rebuild my back deck. They did a great job!! The job was done well and quickly, the builders even working in the cold. I have hired them to do an indoor remodeling project next and will have no qualms about hiring them to redo my front deck next.

We hired Michigan Rose Construction to finish our basement. We worked with Sean, Cory, and Paul to design a space to our liking, taking our basement from brick and concrete to a fully finished space. They delivered a product that was exactly as we had imagined, complete with custom shelving and a beautiful French door at the entrance. Paul did most of the carpentry by himself and his craftsmanship is very impressive! We’ll definitely be giving Michigan Rose Construction a call when we need another big home improvement job done!

What can I say??? Sean and his crew were absolute pros from start to finish. The step by step site planning to being mindful to minimize lawn damage to site clean up were all above and beyond. Sean was patient and kind and very personable to deal with. He was compassionate about our needs and hit a grand slam. They are definitely handling the foundation for my next big project and we can’t wait. Highly recommend this company.

Michigan Rose Construction provided quality work on our new driveway and walk. It was a complicated job because a retaining wall had to be poured to replace rotting timbers. Their work was top notch. Sean Kurtz, the owner, listened to all of concerns. I would not hesitate to hire them for any job.

I would highly recommend Michigan Rose Construction for home repair. Everyone there was very pleasant to work with. They responded quickly to my inquiry, gave me a very reasonable quote, started the work on time, cleaned up after each day and the carpentry was superb. When we contracted Michigan Rose Construction to build us an outdoor kitchen, we didn’t really envision how perfect it would be for our lifestyle. Sean listened to our needs, adjusted without complaint when we changed our minds about things or expanded the scope, and delivered an unbelievable result. From the custom concrete bar top, to the storage area, and my very important canning space, it came together perfectly. Michigan Rose built a new deck for my condo unit. Joel Shown, the construction coordinator, was very responsive to all of my calls and texts with questions I had about the new build. I was given information up front as to what to expect and when to expect it.
The actual builder of my deck, Rob, was extraordinary with his knowledge of deck building and he paid a great deal of attention to detail, which is important to me. My new deck is beautiful and I am now enjoying it!
I will definitely recommend Michigan Rose Construction to my family and friends and to anyone out there who is looking to build a deck.

We had bids out for pouring the concrete floor in our 40x70 pole barn. Their bid was right in middle and actually a better value than the highest bid. Sean was the only one of the bidders to get back with me, so that cemented it (pun intended). Sean came out personally to view the job and they got started a couple of weeks later (weather issues). The crew that came out were very professional, even leveled off the ground outside the barn. On the day of the pour, Miguel and the entire crew spent 12 hours on the job in order to make sure it was done right. He even reset the door latch on my overhead door. I absolutely recommend Sean and Michigan Rose to anyone.

When it came time to remove the old cement and asphalt from my garage and replace them with new cement, I received bids from various contractors. Our 15+ year old cement porch was crumbling to the point of being unsafe. After receiving quote upwards of $4000 for repair and $8000 for replacement, we contacted Michigan Rose Construction.
Not only did they quote almost half of the others, they were so responsive and professional.
Sean contacted us right away and arranged for repair in the same week.
Work was done in 4 hours, and it is beautiful!
We are more than pleased!

He was prompt to call me back, explain what others glossed over so I could make an informed decision, and walk me through his estimate.

Our Warranty

Warranties on all Labor is up to 1 year after installation. Warranty is on craftsmanship and installation issues. Issues regarding wear and tear or client usage do not fall under the warranty clause

Material warranties vary among manufacturers and will be told to the client before signing of the contract.

Warranties are only valid if payment is made upon full completion. If the work is not completed to customer satisfaction upon final job walk, we will fix it at our own expense.

Change Orders

Once construction begins, additions, alterations and diversions from the design plan will require a signed “change order” document from both homeowner and designer. Any additional costs that accompany the request are due in full upon request. Unforeseen obstacles are not uncommon, and homeowner agrees to over any additional cost due to any event that may occur (tree roots, tree stumps, buried hazard material, buried concrete footings, clogged drains, etc.)

HOA

Client is responsible for HOA compliance and document submittal. All deposits are non-refundable if client cancels after 72 hours of signing Contract. Plan fees are non-refundable as well
