Sean Kurtz founded Michigan Rose Construction with one goal:
make the remodeling process straightforward and stress-free for homeowners. Too many contractors in the Ann Arbor area are hard to reach, vague on pricing, and slow to finish Sean built Michigan Rose as the opposite of that.
Since 2022, he’s led projects ranging from backyard decks and paver driveways to full kitchen remodels and basement finishes across Ann Arbor, Ypsilanti, Saline, and surrounding Washtenaw County. Yes. We do have warranties. Our Warranty on all Labor is up to 1 year after installation. The warranty is on craftsmanship and installation issues. Issues regarding wear and tear or client usage do not fall under the warranty clause.

Ready to get started? Michigan Rose Construction offers free on-site estimates for decks, driveways, kitchens, bathrooms, basements, and more across Ann Arbor, Ypsilanti, and Saline. We respond as soon as we get your enquiry.
Warranties on all Labor is up to 1 year after installation. Warranty is on craftsmanship and installation issues. Issues regarding wear and tear or client usage do not fall under the warranty clause
Material warranties vary among manufacturers and will be told to the client before signing of the contract.
Warranties are only valid if payment is made upon full completion. If the work is not completed to customer satisfaction upon final job walk, we will fix it at our own expense.
Once construction begins, additions, alterations and diversions from the design plan will require a signed “change order” document from both homeowner and designer. Any additional costs that accompany the request are due in full upon request. Unforeseen obstacles are not uncommon, and homeowner agrees to over any additional cost due to any event that may occur (tree roots, tree stumps, buried hazard material, buried concrete footings, clogged drains, etc.)
Client is responsible for HOA compliance and document submittal. All deposits are non-refundable if client cancels after 72 hours of signing Contract. Plan fees are non-refundable as well
